More about your role

The purpose of the role is to work with the Senior Marketing and Marketing managers, (acting as the Business Partner) to coordinate the end-to-end planning process to meet business targets and marketing objectives within the allocated business area.

The role takes data, insight and information from the allocated Business Area and uses it to shape effective briefs and requests for both BAU and Campaigns/Projects. It works with the Centre of Excellence (Marketing and Comms experts) teams to coordinate the delivery of impactful communication plans across a range of offline and online marketing channels; measuring, analysing and reporting on the performance to enable the identification of actionable business insights.

The role also supports with the coordination (and in some cases production) of localised Business Area support, using marketing toolkits and centralised collateral.

Essential Criteria

  • Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience in a marketing or communications role, supporting the delivery of campaigns or marketing activity.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering marketing activity that drives commercial and/or customer-focused outcomes.
  • Experience planning and coordinating marketing campaigns in line with business plans and strategic objectives.
  • Ability to evaluate marketing campaign performance and present insights clearly to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of marketing and communications across B2C or B2B audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management and marketing analytics tools (e.g. Monday.com, Google Analytics).

More About you

You're an organised and proactive marketer with experience in marketing planning and campaign coordination, confident managing timelines, prioritising workload, and keeping multiple workstreams on track. You work collaboratively and build strong, professional relationships across commercial teams, site teams, and specialist marketing functions. You're comfortable using data and insights to support decision-making and optimisation, with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to planning. You'll ideally be familiar with marketing operations, performance tracking tools, and proficient in Microsoft Office and project management platforms such as Monday.com.

This role offers flexible working, with the option to work from home. Travel to Places Leisure offices or sites will be required, and candidates should be within reasonable travel distance of one of our office locations; such as Leeds, London, or Preston.
