Job introduction

The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated, flexible and committed Midday Supervisory Assistant. This role will require you to be responsible for the supervision and to ensure the safety of pupils in all areas inside or outside the school building throughout the lunchtime break. We are looking for someone who is committed to the Catholic vision of our school and has high expectations of our children.

Paid weeks per year: 43.89 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

Start date: 14th November 2025, pending checks and references

About the role

Time: Monday – Friday, 11.30am – 1.00pm (Term time only)
Grade: Scale 3 Spinal Point 7 - 8
Salary: £26,403 - £26,824 if the role was for 52 weeks, 37 hours a week.
Actual salary: £4,517.26 as role is for 43.89 weeks, including holidays (actually work 38 weeks), 7.5 hours a week.
Hourly rate: £13.69 - £13.90 per hour
