Microsoft M365 Platform Lead
About the Role:
Wirral Council is underway on an ambitious digital transformation journey. This is an exciting time to join a forward thinking, digitally focussed Council. We are seeking a Microsoft 365 and Power Platform Lead to support in our transformation and drive the delivery of a modern workplace to enable productivity, collaboration and flexibility.
The role will oversee the work in the M365 team within the Digital, Data and Technology department, bringing together M365 and Power Platform engineers who are vital in the design and implementation of enterprise collaboration tools, applications, and services.
About the Candidate:
You will have a passion to make a difference, with excellent technical ability and a full understanding of the elements of M365 and Power Platform. The successful candidate will have ability to inspire and build enthusiasm for digital, alongside a passion for technology and for making it work for businesses, and to ensure value for the organisation.
Experience of M365 products, the ability to manage and support M365 environments and Power Platform Centre of Excellence, and strong knowledge of administration tools is required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with across teams to implement and manage solutions, interact with business stakeholders to understand their needs, and provide simple solutions to problems. You will play a key role in designing and delivering Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions that enable a modern workplace, improve user experience, and drive service transformation.
Experience of DevOps, application lifecycle management, automation and workflow design, and building and championing communities of practice is desired.

Salary range
- £49,282 - £52,413 per year
