Mid-Day Assistant Vacancy – September Start

Pewithall Primary School is looking to appoint a Mid-Day Assistant to join our dedicated team from September 2025.
Our small, friendly team of Mid-Day Assistants plays a vital role in supporting and supervising our children during lunchtimes, both in the dining hall and on the playground. We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to work 1.25 hours per day (6.5 hours per week) to help ensure a safe, enjoyable, and nurturing lunchtime experience for all pupils. The exact working hours will depend on the key stage assigned.

Key Information:
- No previous MDA experience is required, but experience working with or caring for children is essential.
- Training will be provided, including safeguarding and first aid.
- This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
- The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and online checks as part of our safeguarding procedures.
- References will be requested prior to interview.
