5 hours per week / 46 weeks per year

Pay Band B SCP 2

£24,413 + SEN Allowance £1,359 pro rata, per annum

(Actual Salary £2,999 + £166 pa)

The Governors of Alt Bridge would like to appoint x 4 Midday Supervisors Level 1 to care for, support and supervise pupils during the first lunchtime break which takes place between (11:45am and 12:45pm) and to prepare, provide and oversee suitable activities for this time. Some experiences and/or awareness of the needs of learners with Severe Learning Difficulties and complex needs would be helpful. You will also receive training to fulfil the requirements of this role.

The person appointed will be highly reliable to ensure that the environment remains as predictable as possible for our young people. Successful applicants would be joining a friendly and highly professional team within a very caring, happy and very successful school. You’ll be working with individual children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and associated conditions, learning difficulties and sensory needs. You’ll be there to help them play, interact and thrive during unstructured times of the school day. You will need to be resilient, dedicated and approachable.

As a Midday Supervisor at Alt Bridge school, you’ll get all the support you need to succeed. Your colleagues are experts but we are also all learners, every day and with a keenness to reflect and develop ourselves.
