Ark Little Ridge is a popular and over-subscribed school in the heart of Hastings graded ‘OUTSTANDING’ in all areas by Ofsted. (October 2023) It has a proven track record of raising standards for its pupils, particularly our most vulnerable..

We are a two-form entry school with a full cohort of 60 pupils in each year group. Our staff are very committed to knowing each child and providing them with the very best care.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Midday Supervisory Assistant on a part-time permanent basis. This role will involve taking responsibility for ensuring safe, happy
lunchtimes for the pupils at Ark Little Ridge by engaging in play activities with and taking care of the children during the lunch time period in all areas inside and outside of the school.

The successful candidate will:
• Have good interpersonal skills
• Have experience of establishing positive relationships with children
• Have an enthusiasm for and an active interest in children’s welfare and play
• Engage pupils in purposeful activity during the lunchtime (during both good weather and ‘wet’ lunchtimes)
• Be able to use their initiative and be open to new ideas

Salary: Actual Salary £ 2,924.86 per annum gross
