We are recruiting a Midday Supervisory Assistant at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Contract Type: Casual/Relief
Location: Waunfawr Primary School

We pay an attractive salary of £12.65 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.

We are seeking a professional and dependable Relief Midday Supervisor to join our team in securing the safety and welfare of our pupils.

In this role, you will help to maintain a secure and positive environment in all play areas, promote constructive behaviour and inclusive play, and actively monitor pupil welfare. You will approach challenging behaviour with empathy and professionalism, recording any incidents in accordance with safeguarding procedures.

You will also support the smooth running of mealtimes by assisting with logistics, encouraging good table manners, and helping to keep the dining hall clean and hygienic.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • An understanding of the role of a Midday Supervisor and the responsibilities associated with working with children.
  • The ability to work flexibly within the requirements of the post.
  • An enthusiastic and positive approach.
