EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We’re looking for a motivated and practical person to join us as a Multi-Trade Maintenance Operative Apprentice, working across our housing and corporate properties, all while completing your Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship at London South East Colleges (Holly Hill Campus).
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and learning multiple trade skills. You’ll be based at our Sevenoaks offices, working with experienced colleagues who’ll support and mentor you every step of the way.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting a wide range of maintenance, repair and minor works activities across our buildings and housing stock
- Assisting with statutory compliance checks to keep buildings safe and operational
- Ordering and handling materials appropriately for each job
- Preparing risk assessments and learning how to write work estimates
- Participating in PAT testing and learning how to complete and log safety inspections
- Attending college one day a week (training days are 1 day per week, term time only)
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
- A full UK driving licence
- Maths and English or equivalent qualifications
- A hands-on, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Good problem-solving skills and an adaptable approach
- Ability to work well in a team and take initiative when needed
