    Job introduction

    The Role
    We’re seeking a passionate Music Specialist to join our vibrant team and inspire learners through dynamic, culturally inclusive music education. You will play a key role in designing and delivering engaging music programs that reflect a wide range of musical traditions and lived experiences.

    We would welcome HLTAs, apprenticeships, ECTs, experienced teachers or anyone with a true passion for music to apply.

    About You
    We are looking for someone who:

    • Has a relevant qualification or background related to education or music. This could include formal qualifications such as HLTA status, apprenticeships, an education or music-related degree, or qualified teacher status. We also value equivalent experience gained through community music leadership, youth work, informal or family-based teaching, creative industry work, or other non-traditional routes into music and education.
    • Can demonstrate their experience in or openness to teaching music from a wide range of cultural traditions, including African, Caribbean, South Asian, Latin American, Indigenous, and Middle Eastern music.
    • Has experience working with or within global majority communities, in schools, community music projects, faith groups, youth clubs, or informal educational settings.
    • Is committed to continual learning and contributing to an anti-racist, equity-driven work environment.

    Paid weeks per year: 47.36 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
