
Music Tutor
We are recruiting a Music Tutor at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Caerphilly Music Service are looking to recruit a part-time peripatetic teacher for Summer 2026. The teacher will be required to teach singing lessons across the Caerphilly County Borough area in both secondary and primary schools
Applicants should be suitably qualified to a high level of standard in voice and have recent experience of teaching individual and small group lessons across all age ranges.
The ability to travel around the Caerphilly County Borough area is essential.
For the role, we ask that you have:
- A Level 6 (Degree) qualification and/or a Diploma in instrumental/vocal performance or teaching.
- Good communications skills to a variety of people and the ability to adapt language to suit different ages of pupils.
- Experience of teaching instrumentally and/or vocally to individuals, small and whole class groups.
- Full UK Category B (cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough to tutor music and transport musical instruments.
