Castle Point Borough Council is seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Neighbourhood Management Officer, to deliver a resident focussed, data led, performance driven service. Key Responsibilities
- Managing a patch of tenancies, leases and licences, including sheltered housing
- Conducting tenancy audits and neighbourhood inspections
- Supporting vulnerable residents and linking them to vital services
- Tackling anti-social behaviour and safeguarding concerns
- Leading on tenancy changes, complaints and legal proceedings
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality housing services
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Experienced in housing or customer service
- Skilled in communication, problem solving and partnership working
- Has knowledge about housing legislation, welfare benefits and safeguarding
- Has IT skills and is confident using Microsoft Office
- Committed to equality, diversity and excellent customer care
- Has experience in sheltered housing or similar environments
- Has a flexible attitude to being called upon to work in an emergency or unusual circumstances
- Holds a valid driving licence and has access to transport with business insurance
