About the Role

This is a pivotal time for the Liverpool City Region in relation to transport, our ambition is to deliver a modern, integrated and publicly controlled public transport system.

This is a newly created role where the use of data and information will drive operational performance of our multi modal metro network. Reporting to the Head of Network Performance this role is to lead a joint (bus and rail) team that will oversee standards across the network for the entire Liverpool City Region.


About the person

This is a perfect opportunity for someone who has management experience gained in a relevant transport field of bus or rail. You will have the experience to develop a performance analysis and improvement framework to drive a high-performance Bus and Rail Network (Metro Network) across the Liverpool City Region.

You will oversee the development and production of a Network Performance Scorecard together with performance reporting against SLAs.

You will lead, inspire and motivate others within a culture of proactive service delivery and continuous improvement using data to inform strategies and decision making. You will have highly developed communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and comprehensible way.
