NICE Data, Intelligence & Information Manager
£54,267 - £57,402 per annum
We are seeking a talented, analytical, and curious individual to lead the Newham Integrated Community Enforcement (NICE) Team. This team sits at the heart of Newham’s innovative NICE enforcement model, acting as its analytical “engine” and enabling a more intelligence‑led approach to community safety.
NICE aims to improve collaboration and coordination across council enforcement and community safety services, as well as with external partners, to more effectively tackle crime and disorder. The team plays a critical role in ensuring that data, insight, and intelligence are used to drive operational and strategic decision‑making.
In addition, the NICE Team provides analytical support and insight to the statutory Newham Safety Partnership, a strategic partnership responsible for keeping the borough and its communities safe. Team members also lead or support a range of community safety projects and initiatives.
This role requires strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, alongside the ability or potential to manage a team effectively. The successful candidate will demonstrate a clear understanding of how data, intelligence, and technology can be improved and optimised to support community safety objectives.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to undertake a final interview and an analytical assessment / presentation.
We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds; however, those who do not meet the essential skills, experience, and certification requirements will not be considered. Please keep any personal statements to NO MORE than 2 sides of A4.
