    About the role

    This is an exciting time to be joining our team! We are a relatively new authority, created in April 2021. Northampton is going through a period of significant change with an ambitious regeneration plan spanning multiple projects, creating a brand new public realm environment to serve the town both now and into the future.

    Northampton’s historic market is undergoing an exciting period of regeneration, and we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Town Centre Assistant to help deliver a high-quality, welcoming, and well managed market experience for traders, residents, and visitors alike.

    We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail that takes pride in their work. You’ll need to have a solutions driven and adaptable approach to working, thrive in a busy environment with a positive approach to challenges!

    Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills are required as you'll be engaging with customers every day. This role will ensure that the market is clean, safe and welcoming, contributing to a positive public perception of Northampton’s Town Centre to ensure a well-run market is benefited by all and events are delivered safely and successfully.

    The applicant must have a clean full Drivers Licence
