Job Description

Hours of work: 20 hours per week

Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

We are seeking to employ a qualified and experienced pre-school practitioner to join our Nursery team.

The post will be for a minimum of 20 hours each week with the possibility of some further hours supply cover. The working pattern will be agreed with the successful applicant.

The successful applicant will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 and ideally to NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education. Previous experience of taking keyworker responsibility will be considered particularly advantageous.

The youngest children at Harlands benefit from an exceptionally enabling environment both indoors and out. The care and education our pupils receive is enhanced by our team approach to teaching and learning. The Nursery and Reception classes work in close partnership to ensure seamless EYFS provision.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to working as part of this team and will have a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
