We are looking to appoint an experienced nursery room supervisor to lead our newly established, two-year-old provision. We are seeking a person who can demonstrate vision, leadership and empathy whilst working to embed systems, high standards and develop lasting and meaningful relationships with the community. As well as delivering high quality interactions and learning within the provision, the successful candidate should possess nurturing and supportive attributes.

Sir John Heron Primary School is a two-form entry maintained school located in the culturally and socially diverse community of Manor Park. Our vision is to lay a strong foundation for our youngest pupils and equip them with the skills to become lifelong learners.

We are looking for highly skilled and enthusiastic individuals who will go the extra mile to help our pupils reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will have:

• A recognised level 3 qualification
• Experience of working with children, with a playful and enthusiastic approach.
• An excellent standard of spoken and written English as well as an excellent standard in numeracy.
• Desirable: An accredited Paediatric First Aid certificate. Candidates who do not have this will be provided training on successful application.
