Permanent | Full time 37 hours

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about advancing their career in a highly rewarding role, making a real difference to the lives of residents and clients across Northumberland.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work and is eager to develop their Occupational Therapy expertise by supporting a diverse range of clients with a range of health and social care needs.

We currently have a permanent, full-time vacancy within the Northumberland Countywide OT Service, base to be confirmed. This role will include an exciting opportunity to work into hospitals as part of a pilot focussed on hospital discharges.

The role is offered at NCC Salary Band 8, with a salary range of £39,862 – £44,075 (dependant on experience) including annual increments.

This role is the equivalent to NHS Band 6.

  • We are strengthening links with local Primary Care Networks to enhance services for residents andmaintainclose relationships with residential care homes through a programme of regular reviews.

Essential Requirements

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
