Out of School Playworker AAAD5101 - Mickle Trafford Village School
12.5 hours per week – Grade 2 - £12.60 per hour LLW
The Headteacher and Governors of Mickle Trafford Village School would like to appoint a dedicated Out of School Club Playworker to start on 03.09.25

We are looking for someone with the following:
- Experience of working with children aged 4 to 11 years
- Passionate about children and creative in their approach to provide a variety of activities which promote active play for our children
- Approachable
- Has effective communication skills
- A caring attitude
Duties and responsibilities include contributing to the day to day running of our after-school club and working as part pf a team. You will be responsible for collecting children from their classrooms, supporting the children in their play and running structured activities in a warm, stimulating environment between 3.00-5.30pm, Monday – Friday term time only. We are happy to consider applications from individuals who are looking to work fewer hours, and we will do our utmost to arrange suitable working patterns to suit the right candidate.
A Level 2 Childcare qualification is desirable. A current Paediatric First Aid Certificate and Food Hygiene Certificate are desirable but not essential.
