We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner who will ensure our Council buildings are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for staff, visitors, and community events.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, public areas, toilets, and kitchen facilities
- Emptying bins and recycling points
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting as required
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout Council buildings
- Reporting any maintenance or health & safety issues
- Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience
- Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality
- Flexibility to work additional hours if required
Hours of Work
9.5 hours per week, worked as follows:
- 5pm – 7.00pm Monday to Thursday
- 5pm – 6.30pm Friday
