An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to support the Leader and Cabinet Members of Bracknell Forest on a part time, fixed term contract, terminating on 30 June 2027.

About you…
You are a proactive and highly organised professional with experience in senior administrative support, capable of providing comprehensive assistance to the Leader of the Council and Cabinet Members. You have exceptional communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities with discretion and professionalism. You thrive in fast-paced, high-profile environments and are confident handling complex diary management and strategic administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities...
- Provide proactive, confidential, and high-quality support to the Leader and Cabinet Members, including diary and email management, meeting arrangements, and handling sensitive queries.
- Prepare and circulate agendas, minutes, and papers; take minutes and follow up on action points.
- Act as the main point of contact for the Leader, Cabinet Members, Senior Officers, and external partners, demonstrating tact, diplomacy, and political sensitivity at all times.
- Support onboarding and induction of new councillors providing guidance on civic protocol and governance.
- To act as a liaison with the Leader and Cabinet Members to ensure smooth collaboration between Members and Officers.
- Due to the nature of the role, the postholder may be required to be onsite ahead of some evening meetings to support the Leader and Cabinet Members.
