Partnership Link Worker- 12 Months Fixed Term
About us
An opportunity has arisen to join the Early Help Support Team as a full-time Partnership Link worker (PLW) funded by Families First Pathfinder on a fixed term contract for 12 months.
Early Help is defined as everyone’s business and in the Working Together to Safeguard children 2023 it encourages partner agencies to
- provide support as soon as a problem emerges
- help prevent further problems from arising
- be offered to the whole family with services delivered jointly
Early Help partner agencies include health, education, early years and voluntary services and this is expanding.
The role
The PLW’s offer support and guidance with Early Help processes to all our partner agencies.
The PLWs don’t case hold or support families directly.
The role consists of the following
- Providing support to partner agencies to complete Early Help advice and guidance sessions and provide signposting.
- Support partner agencies to complete the Think Family Assessment (TFA) and Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings and the paperwork attached.
- Support with the delivery of training to raise awareness of Early Help processes.
The PLW’s support all WBC internal teams, including adult services and work closely with WBC Education teams.
They attend and support with various partner agency drop ins across Warrington and events to raise awareness of Early Help.
The role is an opportunity for you to be creative with your skills to engage partners and build relationships.
It is an opportunity to gain valuable skills and awareness of support in Warrington.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
DBS clearance is required.

- £30,024 - £33,699 per year
