Are you passionate about education and looking for a fulfilling career?

We're looking for a dedicated Pastoral Leader to join our fantastic team at Lift Broadlands.

Within this role, you will be responsible for the welfare, successful integration and wellbeing of our students. You will be instrumental in supporting the Senior Leadership Team to build and maintain a disciplined, yet caring ethos across the school. Our pastoral team is led by Brendon Abood (Assistant Principal) who manages all aspects of pastoral care across Lift Broadlands; we also have a Head of Key Stage 4 and Designated Safeguarding Lead; a Head of Key Stage 3 and another Pastoral Leader as well within our structure. All of the team care deeply about what they do and come together as a close-knit, professional and welcoming group.

We are a school that loves to offer education and opportunities outside of the classroom so we have a fantastic Enrichment Programme on offer to all students. If you have a specific passion, hobby or skill, we would warmly welcome you to become involved in that as well.

We are looking for someone who can:

    • promote and support positive behaviour and high levels of attendance from students
    • develop and deliver strategies to improve pastoral care.
    • liaise with students, staff, teachers, families, and agencies where required
    • support teachers to provide consistent pastoral care to students within their tutor group

This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of young people.
