Personal Assistant Required - Supporting a Young Football Fan We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to support an 18-year-old autistic young man to build his independence, confidence and social skills while enjoying the activities he loves. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys football, sport and working with young people. The young man is a passionate football fan and player, and a season ticket holder at Huddersfield Town. He also enjoys playing pool, darts, bowling and going to the cinema. The role involves supporting him to:

• Attend football matches and other social activities
• Build confidence when out in the community
• Develop independence and life skills
• Learn to use public transport safely and confidently
• Access local activities and opportunities

The position is for 12 hours per week, mainly at weekends and potentially some Tuesdays. A driving licence and vehicle are not essential, as a key part of the role is supporting the young man to travel independently using public transport. We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and dependable
• Friendly and easy to get along with
• Confident in community settings
• An interest in football and other sports would be advantageous
• Committed to supporting a young person to achieve greater independence
