
Planned Works Project Manager
Job introduction
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of our capital fire door programme across the city’s housing stock. This is a critical role, playing a key part in enhancing fire safety within our residential blocks and supporting the Council’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our residents in their homes.

About the role
You will take the lead in developing and managing programmes for the installation of new doors, using data and insights from internal teams to identify and prioritise blocks or dwellings based on risk and strategic importance.
In this role, you will be responsible for stakeholder engagement and act as the main point of contact, working closely with the principal contractor to ensure the effective delivery of installation works. You will maintain full oversight of progress against your programme, ensuring all activities are delivered to a high standard.
A strong understanding of fire door regulations and requirements, along with experience in contract management, is essential for success in this role.

Additional information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.

Salary range
- £48,226 - £51,356 per year
