An opportunity has arisen within The Housing Services Team for a Planned Works Surveyor

  • Do you have experience managing planned maintenance or capital improvement projects in social housing or a similar environment?

  • Are you confident acting as a contract administrator—overseeing contractors, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations like Section 20 and CDM?

  • Can you provide an example of how you've ensured high-quality standards and resident satisfaction during a major works project?

Operational Duties & Accountabilities

  • This is a key role in delivering high-quality planned maintenance and capital improvement projects that directly impact residents' homes and communities.

  • The post involves end-to-end project management—from procurement through to completion—ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. It requires sound knowledge of housing regulations, including Section 20 and CDM, alongside strong collaboration skills to work effectively with contractors, residents, and internal teams.

  • The role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful improvements in housing quality while developing and leading successful projects.
