Position: Premises Assistant

Salary: : Scale 4 – 7 to be pro rata

Hours of work: Part Time ,25hour per week – Permanent

Contract Term: Permanent

Closing Date: Sunday 20th September 2026

Interviews: Friday 25th September 2026

Start date : 1st October 2026

We are looking for a hardworking, diligent, practical individual to join our premises team and support the school’s Premises Manager and be a key team player in strengthening the premises support provision across our school.

We welcome applications from candidates with the following attributes for the role:

  • Good basic DIY skills, and be able to undertake routine repairs and maintenance tasks;
  • A hands-on approach to day-to-day building upkeep; ·
  • Ability to use own initiative and work independently when required
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload
  • Ability to undertake cleaning, portering duties

Proven ability to carry out security duties which will help keep the school premises in peak condition and guarantee the safety our children, staff and visitors. Actual hours of work to be discussed at interview.
