We are pleased to be advertising the role of Premises Officer within the Resources Directorate.

About the Role

The Premises Officer provides reliable, high-quality support across the council’s buildings, ensuring they remain safe, well maintained and welcoming for staff, visitors and the community. The role combines practical maintenance, front-of-house responsibilities and coordination of building activities and contractors.

Additional Requirements

Please note that you will need a full driving licence to enable you to travel across the county.

About You

  • Reliable, organised, and able to manage a variety of day-to-day tasks.
  • Good communication and customer service skills for front-of-house duties.
  • Works well independently or as part of a team.
  • Practical, hands-on, and able to carry out general maintenance tasks.
  • Committed to providing a high standard of support and service.


Relevant Experience

To be successful in this role, candidates may have experience in one or more of the following areas or roles:

  • General handyman duties
  • Caretaker roles
