
Principal Contract Management Officer
We are recruiting a Principal Contract Management Officerat Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Office based / Home working / Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.
Team: Procurement and Information Services

We pay an attractive salary of £42,839 - £46,142 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
Reporting to the Contract Management Support Services Manager and Contract Manager, this role will develop contract management maturity within Waste Management and across the Council.
It will push value for money and compliance through agreed strategies and processes, working collaboratively with the Transformation programme, Digital & Procurement Services, and Waste Management teams.
For the role, we ask that you have:
- A relevant Level 4 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example, Contract Management, Level 4 ILM.
- Willingness to complete a Contract Management Capability Programme within a timescale to be agreed with line manager if not already completed.
- Strength of character and presence of mind to liaise effectively and authoritatively with representatives of organisations.
- Experience of Contract Management and gaining insight from a range of stakeholders.
