
Private Sector Property Assistant
This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will provide essential administrative and operational support to Property Managers, working closely with tenants, landlords, and internal teams to ensure the smooth running of the ABC Lettings service.

In this role, you will you will act as a first point of contact for tenants and landlords, providing advice and handling telephone and written enquiries. In addition you will be responsible for arranging property viewings, inspections and check-outs as well as:
Monitoring property compliance, including gas safety checks, electrical inspections, and EPC requirements
Raising and tracking repairs with contractors, ensuring work is completed to a high standard
Assisting with invoicing, payments to landlords, and financial administration processes
Preparing tenancy documentation, viewing packs and maintaining accurate records on systems such as Veco.
Support tenancy renewals and manage administrative processes for new and existing tenancies
Coordinate key handling and facilitate access for tenants and contractors
Assist with legal processes including notices and possession paperwork
To thrive in this post it is important that you are organised and detail-focused, with strong administrative skills, as well as having:
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Experience handling customer enquiries (telephone and/or face-to-face)
Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
