    Procurement Assistant - Part time (Thursday & Friday)

    Hybrid - £27,667 pro rata - Fixed Term Contract

    Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and looking for a flexible part-time role? We’re looking for aProcurement Assistant to support our busy Facilities team 2 days per week. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to essential operations and make a real impact in a supportive and collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities as a Procurement Assistant:

    • Council Tax & Utility Bills: Administer and manage all Council Tax and Utility (Gas/Electricity) bills for Hightown, resolving queries promptly and efficiently.
    • Supplier & Agency Liaison: Communicate effectively with Local Authorities, Utility Providers, and Debt Collection Agencies to resolve issues swiftly.
    • Procurement Support: Assist in purchasing office stationery and supplies through approved suppliers.
    • Order & Invoice Management: Raise purchase orders and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Inbox Management: Monitor and respond to emails in the Facilities inbox, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
    • System Updates: Maintain and update our Housing Management system with utility and component information and use it to resolve queries and raise ad hoc orders.
    • Post Handling: Collect, review, and action daily post and correspondence.
