    At West Northamptonshire Council, we’re looking for an experienced and ambitious Procurement Business Partner to play a pivotal role in shaping how we deliver high quality, value for money services. This is an exciting opportunity to join our forward-thinking central procurement and finance team, where you’ll provide expert strategic advice and deliver end to end procurement services that directly support our ambitious corporate plan and strategic objectives.

    What will you be doing?

    As a senior member of the team, you will:

    • Lead and inspire a team of four, driving performance, capability, and professional growth.
    • Act as a trusted commercial adviser to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and supporting major programmes within the People and Resources portfolio.
    • Shape and deliver a complex and varied procurement pipeline, balancing strategic priorities with operational delivery.
    • Ensure our activity achieves real impact by embedding robust governance, compliance, and risk management, while also looking for opportunities to innovate and add value.
    • Champion our business partner model, raising the profile of procurement and ensuring best practice is consistently applied across the organisation.
