We are looking for a motivated and experienced Public Procurement Professional to lead our small but dedicated team. Procurement is central to how we deliver excellent services, achieve value for money, and support our commitment to become a Net Zero district by 2030.
You’ll need strong communication skills, a calm approach under pressure, and the ability to manage competing priorities. If you’re ready to lead and support a procurement service which makes a positive impact, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the procurement team, ensuring high performance and development.
- Deliver your own portfolio of procurement projects, from planning to completion.
- Provide expert advice on procurement regulations and best practice (PCR 2015 / Procurement Act 2023).
- Work with services to design effective procurement strategies and documentation.
- Support contract management and deliver training across the organisation.
- Help drive innovation and continuous improvement in procurement.

Salary range
- £61,385 - £67,596 per year
