Programme Manager
We’re looking for a highly organised and knowledgeable Programme Manager to oversee our £100m+ grant funding programmes. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing grant income streams and ensuring full compliance with funding conditions from bodies such as the GLA, Homes England and Local Authorities. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximise grant uptake, maintain accurate records, and support the delivery of affordable housing projects. This is a pivotal role where your expertise in funding systems and regulatory frameworks will help ensure Peabody continues to deliver high-impact housing programmes across London and the South East.
What you’ll do

You’ll lead on compliance audits, produce reports for stakeholder review, and ensure timely submissions to funders. You’ll collaborate with Development colleagues to support scheme delivery, manage intra-company agreement processes, and provide compliance assurance to senior leadership. You’ll also communicate funding changes, support new programme initiatives, and contribute to internal reviews and governance processes. Your role will be key in ensuring Peabody’s development programmes are financially sound and fully compliant. You’ll be required to attend the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
What you’ll need
- Proven experience managing GLA and Homes England funding programmes, including use of OPS and IMS systems.
 - Strong understanding of housing development processes and capital funding guide requirements.
 - Experienced in compiling statistical and management reports, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 - Knowledge of Pamwin or similar development appraisal and cash flow systems.
 - Ability to assess risk, ensure compliance, and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
