Lead the North East to further devolution
The North East is on the cusp of devolved funding and powers for retrofit and we’re looking for an experienced and proactive programme manager to lead the transition. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team at a crucial point – working closely with government and other key stakeholders, this role will be pivotal to ensuring that the region grasps the opportunities that devolution presents.

In this role, you will:
- Manage the development and implementation of a new strategic delivery function for retrofit across the region, ensuring that the North East MSA can effectively deliver its retrofit ambitions.
- Accelerate quality retrofit delivery across the North East through strategic coordination of government grant funding.
- Lead work with key regional stakeholders to shape and drive retrofit programme delivery.
- Understands the scale of the retrofit challenge and the value of the opportunity and has the ambition to achieve it.
- Can build a new team, supporting team members to deliver against challenging goals.
- Excels at building relationships and influencing diverse stakeholders.
- Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys bringing people together around a common goal.
