We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Programme & Project Support to join our Portfolio Management Office (PMO).

This role is central to ensuring the smooth and effective running of our programmes and projects, providing high-quality coordination, administrative support and data management across a diverse portfolio of strategic priorities. The role will be key in delivering the most strategic programmes and projects within the organisation. that make a positive difference to services and residents across Kent.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide professional support to Portfolio Managers, Programme and Project Managers and Officers to enable successful delivery of priorities

- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record actions and track progress to ensure delivery stays on track

- Support the development, organisation and maintenance of programme and project documentation

- Collect, analyse and manage data and information to support programme reporting and decision-making

- Assist in the planning and delivery of workshops, presentations and stakeholder engagement activities

- Maintain and support PMO systems and processes (including Office 365 tools such as Teams, SharePoint and Excel)

- Provide support on financial and commercial activities, including purchase orders and invoice processing

We are seeking someone who:

- Is highly organised with excellent administrative and coordination skills

- Has experience supporting programmes, projects or business operations

- is confident using Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)

- Can manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines

- Has strong interpersonal skills and can build effective working relationships

- Is proactive, adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team

- Brings a professional and solution-focused approach to their work
