Job description

We are looking for an organised, proactive and analytical Project Officer to join our team.

This is an exciting and varied role supporting projects and service improvements across Environmental Services and Streetscene. Working with managers, operational teams, corporate services and external suppliers, you will help develop and deliver projects that improve the efficiency, resilience and performance of frontline services.

The role will involve analysing operational data, carrying out research and feasibility work, preparing reports and briefings, and monitoring project actions, milestones and risks. You will also contribute to waste collection round design and scenario modelling, maintain and improve back-office systems, develop performance information and support the introduction of new processes and ways of working.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical, organisational and communication skills who can manage competing priorities and work effectively with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders. You will be confident using Microsoft Office and digital systems, able to present information clearly and willing to learn specialist software.
