Project Support Officer

Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week
We are looking for a talented HRProject Support Officer to join the Strategic Programmes Team within the Human Resources and Organisational Development Service.
About the Role
Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will provide vital support across a range of projects and improvement programmes. You will help ensure projects are delivered effectively, standards are maintained, and strategic priorities are translated into action.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
You'll work with colleagues across services, supporting key workstreams and contributing to the delivery of important organisational priorities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the planning, delivery and monitoring of strategic projects and improvement programmes.
- Producing reports, action plans and management information to support decision-making.
- Maintaining project documentation, records and performance information.
- Coordinating meetings, working groups and stakeholder activities.
- Supervising and supporting administrative colleagues to ensure the efficient delivery of administrative and project support services.
- Building positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking someone who can combine strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
You will ideally have experience of:
- Coordinating and assisting with projects, including performance management, reporting against targets.
- Carrying out research and producing the relevant reports/action plans.
- Communicating and liaising with a wide range of people.
- Maintaining sensitive and confidential information.
- Producing detailed written information to communicate information, ideas and opinions.
With strong analytical skills you will be confident making decisions as to when and how duties are to be carried out. Being a competent user of a range of computer applications including spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, internet and e-mail is essential.

Salary range
- £33,119 - £35,570 per year
