    Grade 6- £38,058- £41,442pa 12 Month Secondment Opportunity.

    An opportunity has become available to work with the Temporary Accommodation Team, within the Private Sector Leased (PSL) scheme. You will need excellent customer service, negotiation and partnership skills in the recovery of PSL tenant repair recharges. This role offers a blended working style, working from home, field working and office. Collaborating with the Repairs, Income management and PSL management teams to ensure evidence based recharges are applied to customers when applying recharges.

    To be responsible for the recovery of PSL tenant recharges acting as the main front-line link between tenants, the Council and its partners in recovering debt and directing tenants to relevant agencies to prevent and manage debt. Responsible for all aspects of raising awareness of tenant recharges across a variety of platforms. To monitor current recharge arrears and decide what action to take to progress each case depending on individual circumstances, ensuring a careful balance between the tenants’ needs and the best interests of the Council.

    To conduct interviews and home visits in the recovery of arrears, promote payment plans and payment methods, track progression of payments and provide accurate data and reporting to the Homeless Accommodation Manager.
