The Post
The Quality Assurance Team for the Housing Service is responsible for ensuring the service is compliant with its legal and regulatory responsibilities, developing and implementing lasting improvements and quality checks across key housing processes, and acting as a critical friend when it comes to the performance of service delivery.
As a Quality Assurance and Standards Officer you will play a key role in supporting the Housing Service to prepare for future inspections from the Regulator of Social Housing. You will keep the Housing Service informed of, and held to account against, regulatory requirements, national policy, legislative changes and best practice across the Housing and Local Government sector.
Working with staff at all levels, you will lead projects to develop, review and monitor the delivery of strategies, policies and processes across the Housing Service, ensuring we meet all expected requirements and provide effective, efficient services that prioritise tenant and leaseholder safety and satisfaction.
The Person The ideal candidate will be an excellent facilitator; someone who can quickly get to the root cause of complex issues by pulling together a wide evidence base and can explain these simply to a range of audiences. You’ll be able to quickly build rapport with managers, staff and tenants, ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard in driving forward solutions and improvements to services. Salary range
- £52,194 - £55,323 per year
