Are you highly organised, experienced in regeneration and community engagement, capable of commissioning and overseeing projects being delivered in the community, with excellent communication skills. Able to work closely and maintain constructive relations with other team members, the Chair and members of the Board, other council divisions and partners, provide that key governance support and advice as required. You will be expected to contribute proactively to a teamwork culture with regard to day-to-day council business affairs to achieve a real impact on people’s lives.

You will deliver a “Clerk” role to the Board, following the Terms of Reference for the governance of the programme, alongside the Council’s legal obligations as the accountable body.

The Regeneration Officer will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on projects that are delivered through the Board. They will be involved in working with partners, businesses and other stakeholders to secure investment, and they will be involved in preparing business cases and funding bids.
