Regeneration Support Officer
Regeneration Service - Economic Growth and Housing.
A vacancy has become available within Sefton Council’s Regeneration Service (Economic Growth and Housing) for a Regeneration Support Officer.
Sefton Council has an ambitious programme of change and transformation to deliver across the borough, and we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced regeneration and property development professional to support the team and aid delivery of a number of key priority projects. Spanning across Bootle, Southport, Maghull and including our key coastal gateways at Ainsdale, Formby and Crosby, we have a broad range of projects we are required to deliver. We are looking for experienced regeneration professionals to build capacity within our existing team and help Sefton Council deliver on its Corporate Plan and Transformation Programme.
With a primary focus on regeneration project development and delivery, you will be involved in working in multidisciplinary teams to support a range of high profile capital projects across the Borough. You will be experienced in working within a structured project and programme management environment, within processes and procedures to ensure projects are delivered within the agreed time, quality and cost parameters and achieve agreed outputs/outcomes. Ideally you will have relevant experience working within a regeneration environment which you can bring to the role.
This is an exciting time to join Sefton Council which has secured funding for a number of key capital projects in Bootle and Southport as well a number of emerging development opportunities and priorities.
If you have experience leading or directly assisting capital project development and delivery, working in partnership and to help drive better outcomes including inclusive growth, we would like to hear from you.
Sefton’s growth programme forms a key component of Sefton Council’s 2030 Vision and Corporate Plan. It also forms a key component of Sefton’s role within Liverpool City Region and with Government. This is an exciting but challenging environment and applicants need to be able to clearly demonstrate commitment, flexibility and an ability and willingness to manage competing work priorities and be happy working within a team structure including working with external partners and commissioned external providers to support Sefton’s ambitions.
