
Repairs Assistant
If you are looking to develop your skills or start your career in the housing sector and are customer focussed then this role is for you!
We are looking for an individual who likes dealing with a wide variety of people to strengthen the administrative side of our repairs and maintenance team. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the team by handling routine administrative tasks and providing excellent customer service.
Our Repairs and maintenance team provide refurbishment and improvements to the councils housing stock in the borough.
We will support you in developing your skills so that you can take ownership and responsibility in processing invoices and performing clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence related to repair and maintenance activities.
With an understanding for the importance of delivering quality services and, working as part of a team, you will excel in this role if you have had previous administrative experience within a customer service-based environment and that you have worked in a finance related role, along with having:
Good understanding of clerical and administrative functions.
Familiarisation with GDPR regulations.
Digitally adept and able to embrace new technology.
Excellent and organisational skills.
Processing of contractor variation orders and contractor invoices
