Regular travel across regions and providing cover when required is part of the role.

About the role

We’re recruiting two Repairs Inspector Team Leaders to lead teams of Repairs Inspectors and play a critical role in a new approach to inspection quality and contractor performance.

This is a key role for someone who is confident challenging contractors, takes ownership of outcomes, and ensures residents are at the heart of every decision. You’ll work across regions, manage a dispersed team, and help ensure repairs are delivered safely, to a high standard, and represent value for money.

What we’re looking for

You’ll have experience in repairs, inspections, maintenance or property services, and be someone who can:

• Challenge contractor performance to improve quality, compliance and outcomes
• Take accountability for inspection standards, decisions and results
• Use initiative and innovation to improve ways of working, particularly in a new or developing service
• Balance resident needs, safety, quality and cost to reach the right outcome
• Manage and support a team of Repairs Inspectors across multiple locations
• Travel across regions and provide cover for other areas when needed
