    An exciting opportunity has opened with Brent Housing Management for a Repairs Resolution Coordinator to join us and help us ensure our residents’ homes are safe, sound, and in good repair.

    It’s a fantastic time to be starting at Brent Council, as we are undertaking an ambitious transformation programme across the Council which puts our community at the heart of everything we do.

    About the post

    As Repairs Resolution Coordinator you’ll provide first contact resolution to customers of the service, with a focus on professionalism and care.

    You’ll coordinate bookings and appointments, ensuring smooth progression of repairs, as well as manage administrative duties with a high attention to detail.

    You’ll also provide support on contract management for repairs, ensuring a top-quality service is provided by our contractors. Further, you’ll handle complex cases and assist in managing disrepair, insurance claims, and complaints.

    The ideal candidate

    You should have relevant experience working in a Housing discipline or a busy customer service environment. You should also be able to demonstrate experience of managing complaints and dealing with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.

    You’ll have strong IT skills, with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications and a strong attention to detail.

    In addition you’ll have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as be able to empathetically deal with customers in difficult circumstances.
