    About Camden

Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today and we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.

    How You’ll Be Involved

The North London Councils programme is hosted by Camden council and the Programme is set up by 5 North London Councils (Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington). The main aims are to deliver programmes of work that address shared priorities in partnership and to promote a strong Local Authority presence within North Central London’s Integrated Care System (ICS).

We have an exciting new role as the North Central London (NCL) Resident and Employer Engagement Officer (International Recruitment). You will be part of the existing NCL Health and Social Care Academy which supports those furthest from work to gain roles within health and social care. You will be instrumental in working collaboratively with the employers who have certificates of sponsorship and matching displaced workers into new roles. You will also contribute towards the core purpose of the academy. You will understand the challenges which affect the employers and work with them to overcome these.

    All About You

We are looking for someone who will enjoy working as part of a team and understand the needs of the Health and Social Care sector as well as international recruits. You will be highly motivated to engage our social care employers to support them with recruitment. The role will be working across the whole of NCL, so you will need to be well organised and work efficiently. You will have the ability to adapt easily to the differing needs of the boroughs and understand how best to work collaboratively with each of the employers with whom you engage.
