An existing opportunity has arisen to join the Property Services team at Woking Borough Council. We are seeking a motivated, confident, and pro-active person to join our Property Services Team.
You will facilitate the purchase of Right to Buy properties in accordance with the Housing Act (1985), in conjunction with Housing and Legal Services. This also includes Buy Backs, (the buying back of previously owned Council properties) and Share Owndership transactions.
Ideally the successful candidate will have property related public sector experience, however not essential. We expect you to be able to demonstrate the ability to manage, plan, and prioritise as well as show strong people skills & abilities to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Also essential is the ability to interpret and explain legislation to customers, stakeholders and tenants and as appropriate officer direction.
