
Risk Analyst
Summary
What you'll do
As a Risk Analyst, you will help transform data into meaningful insight that supports decision-making across Notting Hill Genesis. Working within the Enterprise Risk Management Team, you will analyse organisational risk information, identify emerging trends and develop reporting that improves visibility of the organisation's risk profile.
You will play a key role in enhancing risk intelligence, supporting horizon scanning activities and strengthening the organisation's analytical capability through high-quality reporting and dashboards.
How you'll do it
- Analyse risk data from risk registers, incident reporting systems and other organisational data sources.
- Identify emerging risks, trends and recurring issues through thematic analysis.
- Conduct cross-risk analysis to understand relationships and organisational impacts.
- Monitor housing sector developments, regulatory changes and external risk factors.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.
- Produce insightful reports for senior leadership and governance forums.
- Improve risk data quality and support reporting automation initiatives.
- Provide analytical support for assurance reviews and governance reporting.

Essential:
- Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Risk Management, Finance or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and insights.
- Experience analysing organisational data and producing reports.
- Experience using Power BI and data visualisation tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of risk management principles.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
Desirable:
- Power BI or data analytics certifications.
- Knowledge of ISO 31000 or COSO ERM.
- Membership of, or working towards, the Institute of Risk Management.

Salary range
- £43,913 - £48,792 per year
