Job Title : Safeguarding and CLA Coordinator
Location: St Mary's Catholic College
Responsible To: Safeguarding and Vulnerable Pupils Senior Leader
Salary Grade: Band F Point 12-17 £27,711 - £30,060 FTE (£25,280 - £27,423 Actual)
Contract : This is a 2 year fixed term contract. This post is 36 hours per week, 41 weeks per year.
Start Date : As soon as possible

We are looking for a safeguarding champion for our pupils, someone who has the confidence and commitment to ensure that every young person thrives in our community regardless of their start in life. Our Safeguarding and CLA coordinator will be at the heart of our pastoral team and will ensure that our most vulnerable students have a voice. St Mary's Catholic College is seeking a Safeguarding & CLA Coordinator to support our strong commitment to keeping our students safe. It is a vital role at the heart of our culture where we recognise that students may need additional support when life outside of school is difficult.

You will:
- Triage and respond to daily safeguarding concerns logged via CPOMS
- Maintain safeguarding files and ensure clear chronological documentation
- Attend and contribute to CIN, CP, TAF and PEP meetings
- Complete EHATs and lead TAFs
- Liaise with social workers and external agencies
- Monitor key vulnerable cohorts and log daily interactions and updates

In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, Holy Family Multi Academy Trust will undertake general online searches for all shortlisted candidates, this may include social media and video platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
