Scheme Manager – Be the Heart of a Vibrant Community

Are you someone who lights up a room, builds strong relationships, and genuinely enjoys supporting older people to live independently and confidently? If you’re personable, passionate, and ready to make a real difference—this could be the perfect role for you.

We’re looking for a Scheme Manager to join our team full-time (35 hours per week), working across our Darwin Court scheme. You’ll be the friendly face residents know and trust, helping to keep their homes safe, their wellbeing supported, and their voices heard.

What your day might look like:

  • Start by offering practical support to a resident who needs a helping hand.
  • Carry out a site inspection to make sure everything’s safe and running smoothly.
  • Meet with internal or external partners to connect residents with specialist support.
  • Host a scheme event that brings people together and boosts wellbeing.

What makes this role special:

You’ll be at the heart of the community—building relationships, solving problems, and making sure residents feel safe, supported, and empowered. You’ll work closely with residents to help them manage their homes and maintain their independence, while also improving Peabody’s services based on what matters most to them.

This is a hands-on role, so you’ll need to be on site five days a week and have access to a vehicle to get around when needed.

Could it be you?

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting vulnerable adults.
  • Has worked in housing and understands the importance of good record keeping.
  • Knows how to spot and respond to safeguarding concerns.
  • Is a driver with access to a vehicle and appropriate insurance.
  • Is warm, proactive, and ready to make a difference.

This role requires an Enhanced DBS check.

What you’ll get in return:

  • 30 days’ annual holiday (plus bank holidays)
  • 2 paid volunteering days each year
  • Flexible benefits scheme including healthcare, dental, tech, vouchers, and more
  • Life assurance at 4x your salary
  • Up to 10% pension contribution
  • Access to professional development and apprenticeship programmes
  • Family-friendly policies
  • A role where your care and energy help people flourish

Please note: Peabody does not offer sponsorship for this role.

A role where you’ll truly connect

Interviews will take place Wednesday 8th October.
