    Scheme Manager

Make a real difference to the lives of the people we support, every day.

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional care and creating an environment where both people and teams can thrive? We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking Scheme Manager to join us at Litslade Farm, our learning disability residential care home supporting 8 adults with diverse and complex needs.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced service where no two days are the same. You will bring creativity, energy and leadership to a dedicated team delivering 24-hour support, including PEG feeding, diabetes management, stoma care, hoisting, and full personal care. Many of the people we support are non-verbal, so compassion, respect and person-centred practice are at the heart of everything we do.

    What You Will Be Doing

    Lead with Empowerment

Inspire, guide and empower a skilled team of Support Workers and Waking Night Workers, ensuring they have the confidence, tools and motivation to deliver exceptional personalised care.

    Champion Collaboration

Work closely with social workers, health professionals and external partners to create seamless support journeys and positive outcomes for every individual.

    Promote Inclusion and Respect

Create a culture where every person-staff or resident-feels valued, respected and able to contribute. You will actively embed inclusive practice into daily operations and decision-making.

    Provide Compassionate, Confident Management

Oversee rota planning, staffing levels, annual leave, sickness cover, and recruitment. You will also complete staff inductions and occasionally provide weekend managerial cover to ensure consistent, high-quality support.

    Drive Quality and Continuous Improvement

Review support plans, lead change, identify opportunities for development and encourage innovative ideas that enhance the lives of the people we support.

    What You Will Bring

    • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire confidence and empowerment in others
    • Compassionate, respectful and inclusive practice
    • Excellent IT and organisational skills
    • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
    • A passion for delivering outstanding care in a busy, rewarding environment

    What You Will Receive

We value our staff just as much as the people we support. In return for your dedication, you will receive:

    • 33 days annual leave, rising to 35 with service
    • £33,054 per year, based on a 37.5-hour week
    • Annual performance bonus
    • Monthly attendance bonus
    • Annual salary and cost-of-living review
    • Workplace pension and life assurance (3× salary)
    • Employee wellbeing support, aligned with the Five Ways to Wellbeing
    • Refer-a-friend bonus (£130)
    • Access to an employee assistance helpline

    Join Us

If you’re ready to lead with compassion, work collaboratively, champion inclusion, treat everyone with respect and empower both staff and residents to achieve their best lives - we would love to hear from you.

We are proud to be an Equal Opportunities and Disability Confident Employer.
